MOMS ON A MISSION

What is MOMS ON A MISSION?

MOMS ON A MISSION is a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through 10 years of age. This ministry helps us to nurture every mother by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. MOMS ON A MISSION is primarily led by the mothers themselves with the addition of “seasoned, veteran” moms that are affectionately called “Mentor Moms.”

We have a quality children’s program called MIGHTYKIDS where your children are taught a Bible story, make a craft, sing songs, and have a variety of age appropriate activities.

A typical MOMS ON A MISSION meeting includes:

  • A brief time to catch up with one another while enjoying refreshments
  • A Mentor Mom moment
  • A guest speaker who addresses relevant topics applicable to moms in the group

    • MOMS ON A MISSION 2012 - 2013 Meeting Schedule

    Our group meets every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month, from September through May, by either a meeting, play date, or field trip. We ask that you be committed to come to the M.O.M. meetings, but the playdates and fieldtrips are optional.

    A Month’s Schedule

    1st Tuesday: M.O.M. Meeting — 9am till 11:15am

    (Drop off children at MIGHTYKIDS at 8:45am)

    2nd Friday: Play date/field trip activity

    3rd Tuesday: M.O.M. Meeting — 9am till 11:15am

    (Drop off children at MIGHTYKIDS at 8:45am)

    Moms Night Out — Once every Quarter

    (Childcare is not provided for this activity)

    *** Special Meeting Conditions

  • We do not meet the 5th Tuesday in a month.
  • We only meet the 1st Tuesday in December. No other activities are planned in December.
  • For the month of April, we will meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month.
  • Our consignment sale is scheduled for March 2, 2013. More details are soon to follow.
  • During inclement weather, our meetings will be cancelled if Union Grove Christian School is closed or on a delay.
  • Due to limited child care space please contact the the church office before attending a meeting.
