The Grove Student Ministries
“A Safe Palce to Grow”
The Grove Student Ministries exists to provide a safe place for students to grow through ever deepening relationships! We acomplish this by creating multiple environments where this can happen. Those environments are:
Word of Life Meeting (ie. Youth Group):
Our most exciting time of the week is the Wednesday night Word of Life Meeting at the Grove. This is what would be our typical "youth group" meeting. We put on an exciting program with games and songs, as well as pray, learning and small group discussion time. We use the Word of Life program becuase we believe it is the best program out there! It challeneges students to develop spiritual disciplines and and teaches them Bible doctrine! We know that studnets don't need to be spoon-fed Bible truth and they can understand the deep things of the Bible!
Student Bible Fellowships:
Bible Fellowships meets at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings in the High School building. This is a time where we can divide into small groups and answer one question: "What has God been teaching you this week?" By answering this questions, we can discuss the things God is teaching each one of us individually and help eachother answer questions that we may have encountered during the week.
We know that to grow spiritually you can't just keep taking in without ever pouring out. That is why we incorperate service projects as a part of our activity schedule! We will serve at homelesh shelters, organize youth rally's, do work projects, and many other things to help make an impact in our community!
Fellowship is vital to a successful ministry. We would love for you to come and hang out with us so we can get to know you better! It is our desire to build relationships with each individual that visits the Grove. We hold many fun activities throughout the year that we would love for you to be a part of. For example: Camp in New York, capture the flag, sporting events, all nighter’s, bowling, skating, etc. Please check out the calendar section of our website to see more of the activities that we do.
